As you are all aware, since the beginning of lockdown, all wedding have stopped for us, as our business is built solely on wedding photography, it left me with no work and lots of time on my hands.
I absolutely love taking photos and was devastated I wasn't able to go out for the next few months and take any. So to keep myself busy I have came up with several ways to stay created around the house, so I have written this blog to show what I have been up to, if nothing else it will be something to look back on for years to come.
Firstly though, I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all my amazing couples, to everyone who have had to rearrange their dates but around our availability, it has been much appreciated!! 2021 is looking to be the best year ever! To those who have had to cancel their wedding days or yet to find a new date, I wish you all the very best and hope to see you again soon, we were looking forward to working with you so much and i'm sure we will catch up with you soon.
So to keep busy, i've started a few new projects, the first was the Lego wedding (View Here) of Florence and Fred. The response to this was just incredible, being viewed Millions of times all over the world in 90 countries, in countless newspapers, podcasts, radio stations and even on Daily mail TV in Newyork. I would like to say thank you to each and everyone who shared it, but this would take a while, so I have posted a link to the majority of sites at the bottom of this blog.
After the wedding, I started to get an addiction to taking photos of Lego, who knew how much fun it would be! So I purchased more Lego and started taking photos of Florence & Fred's Honeymoon, again these photos were around the garden and house. It was a little more challenging, but great to keep those creative juices flowing and as funny as it sounds, learnt a few new techniques I can adapt to weddings, so very excited to use these ideas, but taking photos of actual people!
Since the Honeymoon I have started an Instagram page with Florence ad Fred's adventures on, which can be found here www.instagram.com/the.legophotographer As much as my wife hates all the Lego everywhere, as long as I tidy up after myself, she is 'usually; ok with it, and only hear a few times a day 'stop playing with Lego'.
I also have been filling my time filming videos for my stepdaughter Alice, who is trying to become a vegan/travel influencer on Instagram follow here here www.instagram.com/happily.ever.alicewho has already generated quite a following. See the videos on her page, or I have posted a couple below we have been working on.
Going forward, I am hoping lockdown will be relaxed enough to book in some pre-shoots, hopefully throughout June. I am going to put a lot of time and effort into getting as many booked in as possible. I have some great ideas for locations, so will be in contact with couples as soon as restrictions are lifted.
We have been in contact with all our couples up until August so far, but will wait for further government advice before making any more contact, we just cross everything that this will all be over soon and we can return back to normal. Feel free to contact us anytime!

Thanks all again! Here is a preview of the projects I have been working on.
