Carpe Diem Wedding Photography

Can we meet for a consultation?

Yes of course, we can meet anytime for you to see if I am right for you, my office is in Middlewich where you can browse through previous wedding photos, albums, etc. This will be a very informal chat about what I have to offer you, and about how the day will run. You will be able to ask me any questions, and talk about any concerns.

Is the price we see the price we pay?

Yes of course, there are no hidden costs, once you have paid a deposit to secure your day, your price will not be affected by any increases.

Do you offer discounts?

I do offer some seasonal discounts and bespoke packages, contact to discuss.

How much deposit will I need to pay?

The deposit to secure any date is £200, this can be either cash, cheque or bank transfer, unfortunately I am unable to secure a date without a deposit.

When is the final balance due?

As long as the balance is paid before the wedding day, im happy with that, im never going to be strict on when it needs to be paid by.

Will we be able to meet up with you prior to the wedding?

Yes, around 3-4 weeks prior to the wedding day, I will make contact you with to arrange a meeting, or a phone/ video call. It will take around 20-30 minutes and we can run through everything and have a plan, so there will be no surprises on the day, and you get exactly what you want from us.

When can we expect to receive the photos after the wedding day?

During our busy season ( April – October ) I aim to have your photos ready within 6 weeks. If there is going to be a delay I will contact you to advise. If for any reason you require your photos more urgently, please let us know and we will do our very best to meet your deadline.

How many photos should we expect to receive and will we get all the photos you take?

You will receive all of your edited photographs with full printing rights. There is no limit to the amount of photos we take, we will capture as much as possible during the day, on average its around 10,000.. Once we have cut out all the duplicates, practice photos and the blinking, you will received anything between 500-1000 photos.

How many group photos should we have?

I recommend no more than 10 group photos, 10 groups would take around 20 mins. If you wanted more that’s no problem, just be mindful that it will take time out of your day, and you can only smile for so long. We will discuss this on a meeting prior to the day.

Do you only cover the North West UK?

Nope! I will travel the the whole country for a wedding, as well as abroad, just contact and tell us your plans and if I am available, I will be there!

What equipment do you use?

I shoot with Sony cameras, the current industry leading hardware. On a wedding day, I will travel with around £20,000 worth of equipment, including backup cameras, lenses and lighting. I try and cover every eventuality so if anything does go wrong or breakdown, it will never affect the photographs, and you will still receive the best photos possible.

Is it possible to lose our wedding photos?

When it comes to technology it can always breakdown or corrupt, but I will try and do everything possible to cover myself if this does happen. In 700 weddings, I’ve never lost one single photo! I will shoot on 2 memory cards at the same time on 2 different cameras, so if a memory card does corrupt (which can happen) it will automatically be backed up to another. After the day your photos will be copied to 2 separate harddrives and an online cloud service, once the photos are edited and delivered, they will be secure in your online gallery forever.
