James and Mina's post lockdown wedding at Saint Werburgh's Church in Chester and the Stanneylands Hotel, Wilmslow, Cheshire
What a wedding and certainly one I will remember for a very long time. The groom James contacted me only 10 days ago and asked if I could photograph the very small wedding on the 1st August 2020 and of course I jumped at the chance, unfortunaetly like many others they had to change their original date from May. Not only was this my first wedding since February due to lockdown but also the first time we could have 30 guests at the wedding reception. This however changed two days before the wedding when the government announced we could no longer have 30 guests at a wedding, which could have cancelled their plans all together. But James and Mina with the support of their families managed to organise all the changes in 2 days and ended up having a meal at home rather than at the venue, the Stanneylands.
Whilst aderhering to social distancing rules, James & Mina started with a very intimate ceremony at St, Werburghs Church in Chester, follwed by my first Iranian Ceremony at the Stanneylands. The ceremony was followed by socially distanced dancing, before heading outside for some photos. We then headed back to the brides family house in Wilmslow for some very tasety Iranian food, cake and celebrations.
It was such a pleasure meeting with Mina & James's families, everyone could not have made us feel more welcome! It was really great working with you all!
Hope you have a great time away in France! and all the very best for the future.
Finally a big shout out to Jordan from www.leedsvideography.co.uk who, as always was amazing to work with, Cant wait to see the video!
Here is a very small preview of the day, enjoy!
