Inglewood Manor Wedding Photography – Julia & Grant – December 2020
Despite all the restrictions of 2020, Julia & Grant held their 15 guest wedding at the stunning Inglewood Manor on 17th December 2020 and what a day it was. Everything was perfect, and above all its Christmas!!!
I had met Julia & Grant a year prior to discuss their plans and book me to photograph their day, their original date was November 2020 but as every wedding this year, they had to postpone, fortunately though Merseyside went into Tier 2 and their celebrations could go ahead in December, I could not be more excited!
After a week of rain, I arrived at Inglewood Manor in the morning to cover bridal prep and the sun was shining, the sky was blue and the weather was extremely mild, which made the day even more perfect. After photographing both bride and groom getting ready, their ceremony took place at 12pm in the Ledsham suite. This is a great place to have a ceremony as natural light fills the room from the bay window, perfect for getting those well lit vibrant photos.
Following the ceremony, the guests were welcomed with a (Non- Alcohic drink) and relaxed in the reception alongside Inglewood very elegant Christmas decoration.
Once the socially distanced hugs were complete, we headed outside for some photos. We started with the couple and their adorable child James, before heading round the grounds for some natural and posed photos. We were spoilt for choice at Inglewood Manor for places to take the photos, so we just used them all, starting in the columns, walking round the back, into the woods and back inside for those shots in front of the Christmas tree.
We then sat down for the wedding breakfast and drinks (we are allowed alcohol now as its with food), followed by 3 heartfelt speeches. Unfortunately we didn’t get a sunset due to a cloudy sky, but we were able to head back out in the dark for our signature night-time photos, again spoilt for choice for the location, so we went to them all!
I would like to wish Julia and Grant a huge congratulations and cannot thank you enough have having me as part of your special day. Here is a very sneak preview…
