Combermere Abbey wedding Photography // Emily & Johann’s micro Wedding – December 2020
I could not be more excited to post another wedding blog in 2020. Emily & Johann decided to go ahead with their ceremony despite the restrictions post lockdown and it was just amazing!
Emily & Johann had originally planned to marry at Combermere Abbey back in October, but like all wedding this year, that had to be postponed due to Covid. So they decided to split the day in two, have the ceremony this year with close family, then have the full wedding in 2022 when things return to normal.
Both bride and groom started the day offer getting ready at Combermere Abbey along with close family, before heading to Marbury Church for the ceremony. Combermere offers cottages for bridal prep, which are all great for photos and perfect if you have family staying over the night before, plus they back onto the stunning gardens, perfect for that morning stroll. The church, also stunning! It over-looks a the most beautiful lake, is the perfect place to watch the sun setting, which we did managed to capture.
One of the reasons, Emily & Johann had their ceremony this year is so their 14 year old dog, who is deaf and blind could put on his tux and be part of their special day. Of course he features in most of their photos, but despite the loss of his senses he was just amazing and certainly loved having his photo taken.
It was an absolute pleasure being part of your day, thanks so much for asking me to capture it all, cant wait to work with you again in 2022.
